What is a Japanese Head Spa?
A Japanese Head Spa is a luxurious scalp and relaxation ritual. At Matrix it includes a scalp analysis, double cleansing, exfoliation, steam, waterfall therapy, a customized Precision Scalp Infusion™ and an extended scalp, neck and shoulder massage.
What makes the Matrix Head Spa different?

Which Head Spa should I book first?
The Matrix Signature Head Spa (60 minutes, $135) is our core luxury ritual and a beautiful first visit. Choose the Scalp Reset (45 minutes, $95) for focused maintenance, the Crown Ritual (90 minutes, $195) for an extended escape, or the BioTech Scalp Renewal (120 minutes, $265) for our most advanced experience with scalp imaging.
Can I book a Head Spa with short, thinning or no hair?
Yes. The Matrix Scalp Recovery Ritual (60 minutes, $135) is designed for shaved, thinning, short and low-hair scalps, with intensive scalp massage, pressure point therapy and a customized infusion.
Can I combine a Head Spa and a facial?
Yes. The Matrix Crown & Glow Ritual (120 minutes, $285) pairs our signature Head Spa with a customized mini facial. You can also add a Facial Massage Ritual or Mini Facial to any Head Spa.
How often should I book a Head Spa?
Many guests love a weekly or biweekly rhythm for ongoing scalp care. Our Scalp Reset Series (4 x 45 minutes, $340) and Signature Scalp Series (4 x 60 minutes, $500) make that easy.
Can I get my hair styled after my Head Spa?
Yes. Add an Express Blow Dry (from $35) or Luxury Blowout Styling (from $55), performed by a licensed cosmetologist when available.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your appointment time is reserved just for you, so we ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment, for any reason, and no-shows are charged the full price of the service plus an automatic 20% gratuity.
Do I need a card on file to book?
Yes. To secure your appointment, complete our intake form and credit card authorization form when you book. If you have a Matrix gift card on file instead, its remaining balance is applied toward any late-cancellation fee.
